The price varies depending on the duration of each session and the size of the tattoo. To schedule the first appointment, a deposit of €50–€100 is required (via bank transfer or paypal).
Getting a tattoo is generally safe when done by a reputable artist who follows proper safety precautions. That said, you should always inform your tattoo artist about any medical conditions, as these may influence both the tattooing process and how your skin heals.
Short answer: yes—but probably not as much as you would expect. It really depends on your pain tolerance, where the tattoo is placed (some spots are more sensitive), and how well-rested you are.
Appointments can be canceled when you message 72 hours before the actual appointment. Early notice will not guarantee a refund of the deposit but you will be able to reschedule.
After the tattoo session you can only pay in cash or bank transfer.
Get a good night’s sleep. It’s very important to be well-rested. I recommend going to bed earlier than usual to give yourself extra time to relax and fall asleep—especially if you’re feeling nervous about your appointment.
Drink plenty of water the day before your session. Staying hydrated is not only good for your overall health, but it also helps prepare your skin. Well-hydrated skin takes ink better than dry skin, making the process smoother for your artist. You can even start about a week earlier by regularly using a moisturiser or body lotion to keep your skin in good shape.
The spot of the tattoo and the surrounding area needs to be shaved. Feel free to do it at home beforehand in case you feel more comfortable. It is also very fine if we shave in the studio on the day of your appointment.
Take a shower beforehand if possible. Keeping your skin clean is important, as tattooing involves small cuts that open the skin.
Have a healthy meal before your appointment. You’ll need energy, especially for longer sessions. Eating well helps your body handle the process and reduces the risk of feeling light-headed or faint. Bringing snacks and your favourite (non-alcoholic) drink is also a great idea—particularly if you’re prone to low blood sugar. Fruit, a granola bar, or even cookies can make a big difference during a 6–8 hour session.
Dress comfortably. Choose loose clothing that gives easy access to the area being tattooed, and avoid tight or restrictive outfits. This will help you stay relaxed and adjust your position if needed. Since we’ll be working with ink, make sure to wear something you don’t mind getting stained.
For those who menstruate, I recommend scheduling your appointment at a time when you feel most comfortable, if possible. This can make a significant difference in how you experience getting tattooed.
